Tirreno Power S.p.a. was found after the reorganization of the Italian market of electrical energy. The company whose 50% is composed of Energia Italiana S.p.a. and EblA S.p.a. has obtained the right to buy the third GenCo Enel, called Interpower S.p.a. In 2003 it became Tirreno Power S.p.a.
Its main goals are: reinforcing its own position on the electrical energy market, paying attention to power stations in relation to citizens needs.
Tirreno Power S.p.a is based on three fundamental values: shareholders, local communities and environment.
